Kids Sausage Rolls
A wonderful mix of vitamins, fibre and protein.
Ingredients:
500g organic beef or chicken mince
1 large zucchini
2 carrots
1⁄2 onion
1⁄2 cup whole oats
4 sprigs fresh parsley
6 puff pastry sheets
1 free range egg beaten (preferably organic)
Note: you can make these vegetarian, by swapping the meat for a 400g tin of 4 bean mix (drained)
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 220 degrees celsius
2. Separate sheets of puff pastry and leave to defrost (keep plastic backing on)
3. Blend all ingredients well in food processor.
4. Cut each sheet into 6 rectangles
5. Place a good tablespoon mixture into each
6. Fold over and press down the sides
7. Brush with egg and cook for 20 mins
