Wholemeal wraps

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Wholemeal plain flour

  • 1/2 teaspoon iodised salt

  • 3/4 cup water

  • 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

Method

  1. In a bowl, mix the flour and salt, then stir in the water and oil

  2. Mix together until a dough ball forms (add a little extra water if needed)

  3. Sprinkle flour onto a flat surface, then need the dough for 1-2 minutes

  4. Let it rest for 10 minutes

  5. Divide the dough ball into 8 small balls

  6. Rub flour onto a rolling pin, then roll each ball into a very thin circle (as thin as you can make it without breaking it!)

  7. Heat pan over medium heat and add 1-2 teaspoons of extra virgin olive oil. Brush

    around pan to cover it evenly

  8. Place uncooked wrap into pan and let it cook until bubbles form (approx. 1 minute)

  9. Flip over and cook for another minute (press down with a spatula if needed)

  10. Remove from pan and place on plate (covered to keep it warm)

  11. Repeat with the remaining dough portions

  12. Serve with dip or curry!
