Smartbite Anzac Biscuits

 

A good source of wholegrains and tasty snack for those hungry little tummies

Ingredients:

125g butter

1/4 cup raw sugar

2 Tablespoons golden syrup

1 cup oats

1 cup wholemeal plain flour

2/3 cup desiccated coconut

1/3 cup finely chopped dates

1/2 tsp bicarb soda

2 Tablespoons LSA

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 160 degrees celsius

  2. Place butter, sugar and golden syrup in a pan and melt, stirring

  3. Let cool for 5 mins then add bicarb and stir

  4. Add all other ingredients and mix together in bowl

  5. Pour wet ingredients into dry and mix well

  6. use you hands to press into round balls, then place on lined oven tray

  7. Bake for approx 20 mins until slightly golden
