Apple Crumble Cake
Ingredients
Cake:
2 cups wholemeal Self Raising Flour
1 cup sugar
200g butter - melted
2 eggs - beaten
5 green apples (granny smith) – diced into small pieces (1/2-1cm cubes)
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/3 cup milk
Crumble:
½ cup oats
½ cup wholemeal flour
¼ cup sugar
50g butter - melted
¾ teaspoon cinnamon
Method:
Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius
Add all cake ingredients together in a bowl – flour, sugar, butter, eggs, cinnamon and apple
Mix well in bowl
Line cake tin with baking paper (I like to also grease the cake tin a little to help hold the baking paper in place)
Then pour cake mix into cake tin
In a separate bowl, rub crumble ingredients together
Spread crumble mixture over the top
Bake for 40 mins at 180 degrees
