Teriyaki Chicken Recipe
Ingredients
1Kg chicken thighs (free range or organic) 2 tablespoons sesame oil
Extra virgin olive oil
1/4 cup kecap manis
2 tbs sweet chilli sauce
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 onion - chopped
Green beans (approx. 400g)
1 bunch Broccolini
Asparagus
2 cups Basmati rice (or brown rice)
Method
Mix kecap manis, sesame oil, garlic, onion and sweet chilli sauce together in a large bowl.
Add chicken thighs and sit for 30 mins
Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius
Add chicken to oven tray, then add vegetables and mix well.
Drizzle extra virgin olive oil over the top, then place in the oven
Bake for 30-40 mins, turning the oven up to 200 degrees for the last 10 minutes to crisp the chicken
Serve the chicken and vegetables over the rice.
Notes:
if the vegetables are starting to burn you can place alfoil over them, however remove for the last 10 mins to crisp the chicken.
Can sprinkle sesame seeds over top before serving if wanted!
